Pulseo helps you move at a relaxed pace: it counts your daily steps, estimates energy expenditure (kcal) and distance, and suggests a daily goal that you can adjust at any time.
On the Home screen, you'll see your summary and hourly pace. You can review the details for the day and week, and follow a simple streak to maintain your routine. Achievements and gentle reminders (goal, mid-afternoon boost, or weekly summary) are designed to motivate without overwhelming you.
Cycling (optional): If you start a session, Pulseo lightly uses GPS to record distance, duration, average speed, and an approximate energy expenditure. There are no maps or routes to draw: we prioritize stability and battery life.
Privacy and data: Step tracking relies on your phone's sensor and on-device storage. You don't need to create an account or log in to use the app. See the privacy policy in the app store or in Settings within the app.
Standard permissions: On Android 10 and higher, physical activity permission may be requested to access the step counter. Notifications are used for background tracking and optional alerts; you can manage them in the system. For cycling sessions, precise location is only requested when you start the session. Pulse is not a substitute for medical advice. If you have questions about exercise or health, talk to a professional. Every step counts: consistency, not rushing.
