The Iron Legion is climbing up from the ground to drain the Sky Cores that keep the floating islands in the air. In Mazewright you can never wall them out, only make them walk: every tower you place on the hex grid bends their road, and every extra step is another shot. Build the maze, stretch the route and hold the core!

Mazewright is a maze tower defense: a strategy game where the road is yours to build. Plan your maze, pick your hero, spells and relics, and test it against waves that grow tougher in every region.

• Every tower is a wall. Place Cannons, Mortars, Rocket Launchers, Frost Towers and Amplifiers, each with three levels, to stretch the enemy route, and watch the live Maze factor show how much longer you made it.

• Five regions, 50 levels. Free Greenreach, Frostspire, Emberfall, Stormveil and the Iron Citadel across 40 main levels and 10 bonus levels, with Supply Drop puzzles, Twin Cores islands and endurance Trials.

• Terrain that changes the rules. Each region brings its own twist: High Ground, slippery Ice and Crystals to mine, erupting Vents, Portals and Crumbling tiles, and Force Fields that switch on and off under your maze.

• Heroes with talent trees. Lead Brann, Lyra, Orin, Pip or Aeris, move them around the board, and level them to 20 across three talent paths each, every path ending in an ultimate.

• Spells that move the maze. Six spells raise stone walls, pull flyers down into your maze, send the Legion back along its road, drop a blocking sentry, overcharge your towers or call down a meteor.

• Bosses that fight your maze. Five bosses and five mini-bosses warn before they strike: the Magma Drill bores through long, thin mazes, the Sky Carrier drops troops inside yours, and the Overmind turns open tiles into holes.

• Stars, challenges and Omens. Earn up to three stars on every level, unlock Heroic and Architect challenges once you have all three, and stack up to nine optional Omens for a bigger score.

• Relics, Armory and Codex. Win ten relics from bosses and Trials, each a strong effect with a trade-off, spend your stars on permanent upgrades in the Armory, chase 46 achievements and fill the Codex with every enemy you meet.

• Quick play. Jump straight in on Open Field, Craters or Serpentine, each in three board sizes, for 30 waves of pure maze building.

What’s new

A new app icon: Brann, the Hammer Knight. On phones the buttons and their margins are larger and stay clear of the screen's edges, the results screen scrolls, and now and then, after a level you win, the game may ask you to rate it.
