Every place you love is holding something. EchoMap is where you leave it.
Pin a memory to the spot it happened — the corner table, the bench by the water, the street you walked home down. It stays there. When you come back, so does it.
WHO ELSE WAS HERE
Other people leave memories in the same places. Stand where they stood and their pin appears next to yours, with a door into the room everyone at that place shares. A café is not a private thing. Neither is a memory of one.
YOUR LOCATION STAYS YOURS
This is not a check-in app and it does not follow you around. Location is read only while EchoMap is open — there is no background tracking and the app holds no background location permission. Before anything reaches a map, your position is blurred on your own device: it snaps to the centre of a grid cell about 150 metres across, and only that centre is published. Everyone in the cell publishes the same point, so watching you repeatedly never narrows it down. Prefer wider? Choose district or city instead.

Echo Find searches your own memories. On This Day brings back what you wrote a year ago. Folders keep the places that belong together.
PHOTOS THAT ARE ACTUALLY YOU
Profile photos can only be taken with the in-app camera. EchoMap holds no gallery permission at all — it cannot read your existing pictures, which is the whole point.
YOU ARE IN CONTROL
Findable on the map starts OFF. Private memories are published to nobody. Block anyone and they vanish from your map and your notifications. Delete your account and its data from the Profile tab, whenever you like.
No ads. No analytics trackers. Nothing sold to anyone.
