Ratings and reviews

Ecosia does not have the same performance as Google/Chrome neither in speed or quality of search results, but the difference really does not matter and the benefit of the cause outweigh the minor problems. What I do not understand is, why I need a whole browser on my mobile to use Ecosia instead of a browser plugin. Maybe the devs can work something out with the new Firefox mobile version ... then you will get my 5th star ;)

I'm gonna give it 5 Stars. Why? Well, the search engine itself is fantastic. It delivers decent results and you plant trees with it, all while the servers are being powered by Ecosia's own solar panels. But the app itself. Oh my... I really do not like the App version of this Search Engine. The App looks old, has little features and so on. To be honest, it looks like an old, insecure forked version of google chrome but modified to work with Ecosia. I will use Ecosia any day on my Browser on my PC, but it's unusable on mobile.

I really like this browser and have used it for half a year now without any problems. I was really glad ecosia didn't have the same group tab feature that chrome has. Now that you also have it, please give us at least the possibility to change it back to how it was before because I liked it way better than how it is now (and I'm not the only one). If that happens, I'll happily give this app five stars.
