Know me before you teach me

As educators you’ll have access to ākonga and learner information to support them in their learning – whether that’s when they’re starting at your school or a new one, or part-way through a term or the school year.

Te Rito helps by enabling ākonga and learner information to follow them.

The Te Rito app has many of the capabilities of the main Te Rito web browser interface. Some complex features for certain types of users, such as the gradebook used by teachers, aren't available on devices with small screen sizes.

What’s new

To ensure Notifications are configured, after the Android Te Rito App has been downloaded and installed from the Android Play Store, users should check the following:

1. Open the Android Settings
2. Open Apps
3. Open App Management > Te Rito
4. Under App Permissions > Te Rito, check to see if Notifications are allowed
5. Make sure Notifications are Enabled
