QR Monkey helps you understand QR codes and barcodes before you open or act on them. Safe Scan is the default. QR Monkey reviews ordinary website links, explains warning signs, and keeps sensitive codes from opening automatically. Quick Open is available as an opt-in setting for ordinary HTTP and HTTPS links only. Scan with your camera or choose a saved image. Create and self-verify QR codes for websites, text, Wi-Fi, contacts, telephone numbers, email, SMS, map locations, and calendar events. Look up supported UPC and EAN food-product codes through Open Food Facts. Ordinary scanning, QR creation, and local history remain useful offline. Optional redirect inspection and product lookup clearly report when a network service is unavailable. History stays in QR Monkey's private storage on your device and is excluded from Android backup. You control whether ordinary scans are saved and how long they are retained. Codes recognized as authentication, payment, ticket, invitation, or Wi-Fi information are not saved automatically. QR Monkey includes readable light and dark-gray appearance options, scalable layouts, TalkBack-friendly labels, optional spoken guidance, and optional vibration feedback. No advertising. No account. No scan-data sale. No cloud history. QR Monkey can identify warning signs, but no scanner can guarantee that a destination is safe. Always confirm important destinations before continuing.
