Eggcrate turns your phone into a crate-digger's best tool — scan a record, and Eggcrate looks it up on Discogs and tracks it for you: cover art, tracklist, pressing details, and current market value, all in one place.

HOW YOU ADD RECORDS
• Scan a barcode for an instant match to the exact pressing.
• No barcode on an older record? Scan the cover instead — Eggcrate reads the printed artist and title and searches from there.
• Or just search Discogs directly by artist and title, with format filters (vinyl, CD, box set, and more) to narrow it down.

YOUR COLLECTION
• Every record's low, medium, and high value estimates, pulled from live Discogs pricing.
• A collection-wide stats view: total value, record count by decade, your top genres, and your single most valuable copy.
• Grade condition (media and sleeve) and attach a photo documenting a record's actual condition.
• Direct links to the record's Discogs release page and current eBay sold listings, so you always know what similar copies are actually going for.
• Tap any record to expand its full tracklist.

WISHLIST
• Keep a separate list for records you want but don't own yet — scan or search the same way.
• See at a glance if something on your wishlist is already in your collection, or vice versa.
• Move a wishlist record straight into your collection the moment you pick it up.

BUILT FOR SPEED
• Swipe to remove a record from your collection or wishlist, with a few seconds to undo before it's gone for good.
• Quick-switch between Scan, Collection, Lookup, Wishlist, and Options without losing your place.

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
Eggcrate has no account system and no developer-run server. Your collection lives in a local database on your own device. You connect your own free Discogs account token in Settings, and Eggcrate talks to Discogs directly — nothing about your collection is collected, shared, or sold by the developer. GETTING STARTED
You'll need a free Discogs account and a personal access token (generated in a few seconds from Discogs' own Settings > Developers page) to unlock cover art, pricing, and full search. Eggcrate will remind you where to add it.
