This app does everything you need. I just started, I find it easy to use and the workouts are convenient, fun and simple according to your fitness level. You even get to pick the music! The nutrition plan is great because you can choose simple types of meal planning or more extensive if you're cooking for a family. It also accounts for allergies since I have a gluten allergy, I can eliminate gluten from any of their meal plan. You can eliminate other allergens as well. Overall the best app I've seen for Fitness and Nutrition that allows for tons of flexibilit!
I would like to see that maybe if you click on a meal it automatically deducts the remaining calories you have left in your daily goal so it's easier to track it. The app let's you choose meals but I didn't realize I was going over daily allowance. Also in the app it won't let me record snacks I ate away from the chosen meals and snacks. It also doesn't let you input the extra calories you consumed from those snacks. The step tracker also does not work. It tells you to download another app that tracks your steps, but it doesn't put that info into the 8fit app so all the extra walking/exercises I have been doing mean nothing since I can't get rewarded in the app for it. When I try to put in the info manually it does not save and I do not get anything for my extra efforts. I do love the meal choices and it gives me a shopping list that makes it easy. I've been using this app for 6 months now and I've lost 20 pounds. As a working mom with 2 young children it's hard to eat right and find the time to workout. With this app, the meal plan I find myself not fretting about what's for supper; what groceries I need to buy; and finding the time for a long workout. Sure I end up cooking 2 different meals cause the children won't eat the food. But it sure makes a world of the difference for me. I love this app it's taught me you can get fit and enjoy great food while being a busy working mom.
Minimal glitches. Well designed interface. Not 'one size fits all' like other apps I have tried. Recipes are yummy and accomodate vegetarians. They are also easy to prepare (I work and study full time so this has been a hige bonus)!
I have just downloaded this yesterday and started the trial. I am impressed with the amount of available content and I plan on starting first thing in the morning. I have found an issue though where each time i am given the option to open my camera to take a picture of something the app crashes. Looking forward to the next 30 days and if it feels good maybe the whole year.
I am very frustrated with this app! I downloaded it and started my free trial and was really liking it. But then the app starting crashing and not loading. Whenever I wanted to use it, I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Even then it hardly ever worked. I emailed customer service and never heard back from them. After 9 days of dealing with this and giving it the benefit of the doubt, I'm done.
