About this app

Know every code. Ring like a pro.

PLUed teaches the produce PLU codes with photorealistic produce art, smart flashcards, and a conveyor-belt game. Built for the checkout lane, not trivia night (although it would also work for trivia night!) And useful for anyone who shops the produce aisle.

WHY IT STICKS
• 1,116 produce items, now with nuts and dried fruit, every one pictured, so you learn what lands on the belt
• Every size and region code, so you know which avocado is which
• 10 minutes a day is enough to feel it at work

HOW YOU TRAIN
• Picture flashcards. Study the produce, then type the code from memory. Codes you miss come back sooner.
• The Belt. Produce keeps moving. Recall the code, beat the timer, build real checkout speed. Miss a size or a variety and PLUed shows you the difference.
• Concept cards. One card shows every size, variety, and regional code together. Star only what your store actually carries.
• PLUzzle. A new produce puzzle every day. Free forever.

SCAN A STICKER
Point your camera at the little PLU sticker and the item opens. PLUed reads each code twice before it opens anything, and tells you when it finds nothing. It works offline, and photos never leave your device.

NUTRITION ON EVERY ITEM
• The PLUed Density Score rates produce from 0 to 99 for how nutrient-rich it is, compared with other produce. Built on USDA data.
• Tap any score for the full nutrition facts, per serving and per 100 g
• Nutrition explorer: rankings, side-by-side compare, and build a plate
• Free for everyone. The whole recipe is published at plued.app/methodology

FOR SHOPPERS TOO
Pick "I'm shopping" the first time you open the app and Home leads with the scanner and nutrition. Switch views any time.

BUILT FOR REAL STORES
• Your store's own codes, imported from a link or QR code your trainer shares
• Your store's card on Home, with its logo
• Filter to the codes your region uses, so you never drill a code you'll never ring
• Streaks with a freeze, so you can miss a day without losing your run
• Dark mode, and full Spanish (beta)

FREE TO START
Level 1, PLUzzle, the scanner, the nutrition explorer, and browsing all 899 produce concepts are free forever. One purchase unlocks every level, code, and mode. Pay once. No subscription.

FOR TRAINERS

What’s new

New in 1.2.3: Nuts and dried fruit are here: almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, Medjool dates, prunes, raisins and more, each with a picture.

A smarter Density Score, with fuller nutrition for every item.

Small improvements throughout.
