About this app

EmA by emdrtech is a Bluetooth companion app designed for professional EMDR practitioners using the emdrtech bilateral stimulation devices. The app provides real-time control over visual, auditory, and tactile
bilateral stimulation channels during EMDR practice sessions.

DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONALS

EmA is built exclusively for trained EMDR practitioners. The app pairs with the emdrtech hardware over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to deliver precise bilateral stimulation control. It is not a self-help or
self-administration tool.

MULTIMODAL BILATERAL STIMULATION

- VISUAL: Control the LED bar's brightness, color, animation pattern (sweep or blink), and intensity.
- TACTILE: Toggle vibrating pads on or off, adjust intensity to suit the client's comfort.
- AUDITORY: Stream stereo-split bilateral beats through paired Bluetooth or wired headphones, with selectable tone presets.

REAL-TIME SESSION CONTROL

- Adjust bilateral pacing speed (Hertz display optional) on the fly without interrupting the session.
- Dedicated counters for Sets and Beats with live total session time.
- Comprehensive session log captures every set with set number, beat count, duration, and speed for post-session review.

OFFLINE-FIRST ARCHITECTURE

EmA runs as a standalone or device-paired session. Standalone mode plays bilateral audio through phone speakers or headphones for in-room practice without the emdrtech hardware connected. No internet connection
required.

NO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

EmA does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, session content, client data, or analytics. All session activity stays on your device.

LANGUAGE SUPPORT

Available in English, Turkish, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.

REQUIREMENTS

- A paired emdrtech device is required for full bilateral stimulation features.
- Android 8 (Oreo) or later.
- Bluetooth must be enabled.
