Privacy & data handling

Appvia VPN is built with a privacy-first approach:

Account data: We collect your email (for sign-in and subscription mapping), password (salted and securely hashed) and subscription status/original transaction ID (StoreKit).

Device identifier: We use the IDFV only to link your account/subscription and to help prevent abuse.

Connection telemetry (operational): We record connection start/end timestamps, selected server location (country/city), session duration and total bytes sent/received to operate the service reliably.

We do NOT collect:

Browsing history

Visited domains

DNS queries

Traffic contents/payload

Your real (origin) IP address is processed only temporarily in memory to establish the connection and prevent abuse and is not retained after the session.

Data storage & third parties

We do not share your data with any third parties for advertising, marketing or analytics and do not use analytics SDKs.

Payments and subscriptions are handled only through Apple/StoreKit.

Our backend and VPN servers run in Warsaw, Poland (EU).

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on our servers.

Operational connection telemetry is kept for up to 30 days and then deleted. Account and subscription data are retained while your account remains active.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your App Store account settings after purchase.

Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
