Worked great, very helpful for getting around firewalls at school, until it started popping up ads on other apps! Facebook, Snapchat, Google,and even my home screen would all randomly have pop up ads that took up the whole screen, and sometimes had to wait for them to play before I could close them! WTH, Hexatech? It's one thing to have ads in your own app, but other apps too? Wish I didn't have to uninstall, but this is ridiculous.

It's really good with the WiFi. No complaints there. But what really pissed me off was that it kept putting up ads. And not even when it was activated. No it put the ads when I disconnected it and everytime I would go on an app a video or picture or something would pop up. It would be a little more understandable if it was when hexatech was activated but when it's deactivated it's absurd and annoying

Unreliable. Sometimes works like a charm, sometimes it says it's connected but fails to transfer any data. Sometimes disconnects right when I tell it to, sometimes I need to force stop the app to get it to disconnect. I would be very happy if these reliability issues were addressed.

The app is super glichy. it constantly crasshes every program on my phone and closes every thing even when the proxy is off, it closes the key doard when I'm typeing and closes my music nomater if it's sound cloud or my stock player. I would not recommend downloading this app as I'm sure it gave me a virus.

The version of this app on iOS works great, but this app for android users is terrible. If you don't want malware in a sense, then you don't want this app. It pops up adds randomly while you are using the phone and is extremely annoying and I strongly don't reccoment this app for Android users.

Best VPN I've used by far. It's very stable and always connects. Don't know how they do it and it's free! However there are full screen ads and videos that suddenly start playing sometimes which is slightly annoying.
It's great it does let you get on pages and that is blocked. The only thing I don't like about it is the ads because there annoying. It almost makes me want to Uninstall this app.😑😡
Seriously, your want to know what apps I'm using. I don't think so mate. That permission is not acceptable, makes me doubt this app. I can put up with in app ads but not that.
Wayyy too many ads, especially due to the fact that they open on top of other apps. Reduce ad frequency or only allow when the app is active. Also do not have pop ups when using other apps, it's too much of an inconvenience
One of the fastest VPN apps out there, but recently it has been displaying full screen ads when opening other apps like Chrome. That is completely unacceptable and I cannot recommend this VPN until you guys get rid of the ads on other apps.
Stop with the ads! The VPN works great. I understand that you need to make money. I am fine seeing ads from time to time. But my problem is how intrusive they are. When I open an app I often get a full screen video add with sound that I can't skip. This even happens when I am not using the VPN. Please rework your ad system. I am fine with seeing ads but they just can't be as intrusive as they are. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone until the ad problem is fixed.
Very easy to use. The first time I tried to use it, it would not connect. But since then it connects rapidly. I was concerned about it draining my battery, but have been pleasantly surprised that it does not. Would definitely recommend.
After I leave the app, it disconnects automatically. This renders the VPN useless. It receives data while in the app though. So if they can fix the problem it would be worthy of 5 stars.
I've been a very satisfied user for almost a year now. I had a couple concerns but I wrote a short email and they responded immediately and completely eliminated all concerns. I recommend this VPN to everyone. I have used about a dozen VPNs but hexatech is truly amazing. And yes great for Kodi 🎥
Very easy to work with and has never let me down. Doesn't require difficult step by step rules, or problems. Doesn't interfere with anything important. Easy to use VPN. One of the best I've come across. And the best thing, IT'S FREE.
As a vpn it works but its super finnicky and the amount of ads are ridiculous. Even if you're not using it, ads would still pop up.
It's useful to use at school, because a lot of websites are blocked. I'm just getting sick of the ads that pop up even when I'm not using this app, like I'll open WhatsApp or YouTube and an ad will pop up from hexatech
Pop-up ads while the app is not being used, almost exactly like those used in adware. The app works really well, though. Also, connection to Google Play is really slow compared to the rest of the internet when using this VPN.
It works fine almost all time. But only sometimes it is not connected. And the pop up ads are really annoying. I know the ads are how important to you. But please try to limit it as not to disturb the users.
WARNING: App shares your cookies with advertisers and browsing habits through multiple DNS servers. Plus 30 percent of their servers are blacklisted. ADVICE: look for and get a paid VPN service with good reputation.
Solid VPN with intrusive full page ads. I would give this VPN 5 stars but because of the intrusive ads. A small ad on the top and a really obnoxious full page ad that pops up. Do the developers actually believe that were going to purchase something from these full page ads? Please it's only aggravating and slows the app down makes it buggy.
Much quicker than Betternet, allows for the same connectivity and freedom, with less anoying adds! It's a win win! I just wish I could use this on my router at home... (It's VPN compatible but there's no free VPN available) :( I love Betternet's servoce and the company, just wish they would expand their horizons a bit.
Really good VPN but the 1 fault that it has is that whenever I unlock the phone or open up an app (ex: Instagram or snapchat) an ad always plays even when I'm not using the VPN this happens it's starting to be a bit irritating😕😕please fix so that this app can get the 5 star it deserves
Don't normally write reviews, but this is honestly the best VPN I've used. Not sure where the location on the Proxy is, but I know this is the only VPN I've had that doesn't take 20 minuets to connect and let's me use Pandora ❤❤❤
Would have given 5, but you added ads. Don't give me ads when I'm not even using the vpn. I'm just minding my business listening to music and an ad comes on. Please fix it.
Does not actually unblock things. In my opinion its trash
Connects fine but it loads too many pop up ads, even when my vpn is off, if you're going to put ads, at least keep them off when I'm not using the vpn
It's a good VPN but even when I'm not using it, it shows ads. I'm tired of it being disconnected and still interrupting things with ads.
2 stars cause of the begging for usage data. Want 5 stars get rid of the begger ware other than that it does as advertised

It's got a problem where it just kinda says "Reconnecting" but it's doing about as little reconnecting as I am honest internet browsing, fix plz? Edit: Turns out it's a problem with the WiFi I was using not the app, sorry XOXO
Great besides the random add pop ups. Not very often but sometimes can get annoying. But besides that, it's a fantastic VPN
Very intrusive. I find it very intrusive you have the app ask me every time I open it to permanently enable access to my network usage. While nothing is quite wrong with asking every time is a bit excessive.
Sometimes the screen freezes up and the notification is unnecessary. It works, it's just kinda not great. It's pretty slow too.
Its good most of the time but sometimes it doesnt connect or stops amd starts and also it causes pop up ads which are just very annoying. Other than that i love it
Good vpn. Randomly stops working sometimes which annoys me and sometimes takes a while to connect
Used to only have simple banner ads in the app itself; now there are occasional pop up ads outside the app. It's disappointing but the at least the vpn works fine and connects fast.

Slow I use it unblock the school wifi and it works for that. However doing a speed test of the wifi without this VPN and with it, theres a significant difference
