Hear what your mechanic hears. EngineEar AI uses artificial intelligence to analyse engine sounds recorded with your smartphone — and gives you a full car-care toolkit: engine diagnostics, service reminders, fuel tracking and a free digital driver's logbook for tax.

Record your engine for around 50 seconds (30 s idle + 20 s revs — Guided Mode), or record freely up to 90 seconds. The AI returns a structured result: possible mechanical causes ranked by likelihood, an urgency level (Low / Moderate / High / Critical), recommended checks, wear evaluation and a confidence indicator.

NO OBD DONGLE REQUIRED — your built-in microphone is all you need.

The app compares your engine's acoustic signature to what a car of your make, year and mileage should sound like. If a 5-year-old, 50,000 km car already sounds like a 200,000 km workhorse, you want to know — especially before buying a used car.

PRIVACY — No account. No advertising ID. Audio uploaded via HTTPS, analysed, deleted from our servers within seconds. GDPR compliant. Crashlytics + Analytics are strictly opt-in (default OFF).

What’s new

- Fixed: mileage-allowance estimate for miles vehicles was under-counting (miles were multiplied by a km rate). Distances are now converted first.
- Fixed: backups are written and read reliably; archives from older versions still restore correctly.
- New: rate unit toggle in Settings (km or mi).
- PDF and CSV exports show the correct unit per vehicle; CSV gained a Unit column.
- Multi-vehicle exports convert mixed km + mi before summing.
