For owners with model year 2019 or newer vehicles*, the Mercedes-Benz app gives you access to your vehicle from anywhere.

With the Mercedes-Benz app on your device, you have direct access to your vehicle at all times. View data like mileage, fuel level and more, find your vehicle’s location, or take action with convenient features like Remote Engine Start and Remote Lock/Unlock.

The app has become a safety hazard. Took my Sprinter in for service on July 19th 2024. Ever since that service the app opens with a message from the calendar informing me I have no scheduled service & asks if I want to schedule service. While this message is displayed the app is disabled. I cannot raise or lower windows, I cannot check fluid levels, I do not know the battery voltage, etc. and the message cannot be swept away; one has to wait until it decides to go away on its own to use the app.

In general it works well. But the suggestions to purchase more item should be possible to dismiss. It is not a good feeling having like ads in such a car app. To turn on and off it is a bit slow and the app crashes several times (it appears the splash screen but does not move on). Subscription price is not app, but it is necessary to use it. And after already paying premium for the car it seems not necessary to charge yearly that much.

While the application works and the UI is great, I believe it needs to have more functionality. A paid remote start stop app?! This should be something automatic for a MERCEDES BENZ caliber of vehicles. How about regulating the temperature & warming the seats on the app after you start the vehicle to ensure it's right before you go in? Since it's paid for, it's as good as useless. Add functionalities to this app MB & make it work & worth the cost charged.
