For owners with model year 2019 or newer vehicles*, the Mercedes-Benz app gives you access to your vehicle from anywhere.

With the Mercedes-Benz app on your device, you have direct access to your vehicle at all times. View data like mileage, fuel level and more, find your vehicle’s location, or take action with convenient features like Remote Engine Start and Remote Lock/Unlock.

Charging for basic convenience that low end vehicles have standard, not what one would expect for a six figure vehicle. for the price you could control temp, seats, etc. Remote start is spotty, and why shut off when less than 25% fuel, 10 minutes won't hurt. Unless of course the app really is not accurate on fuel, which is likely, then it checks out. You can see the German design elements that make it so complicated it works but not intuitively.

NOT worth the money. Remote start takes as long to connect as a walk to the car. Then the engine is triggered off when the door handle is touched - so the engine must be restarted to drive off; senseless. Other features aren't worth a paid subscription, and those that may be won't see frequent use (how often do you expect to GPS track your car?). Overall, it's fine for the expendable income but definitely NOT worth the objective cost. Wouldn't recommend.

It works well with a few minor issues. 1. Just a gotcha: I could not login to the app while my default browser was Edge. Just showed a blank browser page. Changed the default browser to Chrome, then I could login. 2. They add the electric-driven miles when calculating mpg (in App and MBUX). Thus, there is no way, short of a long trip (maybe) to know how much petrol only consumption is. Why? 3. No App feedback option.
