About this app

Enola helps you observe your cycle using the symptothermal method.

Each day you chart your observations (waking temperature, cervical elixir, cervix) and Enola turns them into a clear cyclogram, works out your cover line and applies the interpretation rules of the method.

WHAT YOU CAN CHART
• Waking temperature, with distorted readings flagged
• Cervical elixir and internal sensation
• Cervix observations
• Periods and bleeding
• Intercourse, pain, breastfeeding
• Your own free-text remarks

WHAT ENOLA WORKS OUT FOR YOU
• A full cyclogram of your current and past cycles
• The cover line of your temperatures
• The symptothermal interpretation rules applied to your observations
• A calendar overview of your cycles

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Enola works entirely offline. There is no account to create, no server, no advertising, no tracker. Your observations, which are sensitive health data, are stored only in a database on your phone. They are never sent to the developer or to any third party.

You can export your data to a file you keep, at any time, and import it again on another device. A backup is also written automatically to the Downloads folder on your phone, and it survives uninstalling. Uninstalling the app does erase the data held inside it: keep a copy of that backup elsewhere if you change device.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Enola is a charting and observation aid. It is not a medical device, not a method of contraception, and not a diagnostic tool. It is in no way a substitute for the advice of a health professional.

The symptothermal method has to be learnt: its effectiveness rests on training with a qualified counsellor and on rigorous practice. Enola assumes you already know the method and does not replace that learning.

Enola is available in English, French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish.

Reference manual, available free of charge from within the app: “The Complete Symptothermal Guide”, CC-BY Fondation SymptoTherm (H. Wettstein, C. Bourgeois, P. Ducœurjoly).

For any question about your health, your fertility or your contraception, consult a doctor or a midwife.

Data safety

Safety starts with understanding how developers collect and share your data. Data privacy and security practices may vary based on your use, region, and age. The developer provided this information and may update it over time.

What’s new

Enola adapts to the way you chart.

• Temperatures in °C or °F, your choice, from the first launch
• 24-hour or AM/PM time, independently of the language
• A button to write to us, and a space for users to talk to each other
• Enola shows in English when it does not speak your phone's language, instead of French

Your observations are no longer copied into Android's automatic backup: they stay on your phone.
