I've had this for a couple of years, sometimes I use it a lot and sometimes I don't. I'm still using the free version, the ads are non intrusive. Like most, I use it to practice exercises , work out song ideas, riffs, etc, and as a drummer that shuts up when I'm trying 2 think, dammit!!!Most of the loops are usable, the metal ones could maybe be more imaginative. But the funk, jazz and rock loops are fun. Audio quality is great. Thinking of adding a Latin pack just 4 variety. Hope they makemore

I've been using this app for years to practice guitar and bass, and to record scratch demos of my song ideas. I love it for its simplicity: Not gonna lie, I almost gave it 4/5 stars because it "needs more control, like muting elements of the loop, or wider tempo control, etc. etc..." but the truth is I have other drum machines for all that. THIS app is NOT for advanced (or even for basic) drum programming. It's for playing/practicing your OTHER instruments, with a solid groove behind you! Love!

Quick Companion Drums. I play bass and I have to play with a metronome or drums some of the time to make sure my timing's on point. This app is perfect for that because with two taps I can have a groovy, and yet very precise drum track to follow. You don't need to build a beat, you can change the tempo (within a certain range per track), and the favorites feature allows you to avoid scrolling through the whole list. Also the app can play over other media and is completely ad-free. 👍
