The Humble Green Friar
It's good. Very simple, not a lot of room to edit or create, but that's not its purpose. Just something to jam to if you're working on a song or in search of an idea for a percussion part. No complaints other than its lack of creative editing other than tempo. Again, though, that's not what it pretends to be anyway.

does what it advertises with minimal interruption on the free tier. ofc there's paid upgrades but the free presets are fairly generous in comparison to comparable apps. i practice guitar on the go a lot and this app makes practice feel a bit more engaging than a simple metronome: exactly what i was looking for.
