MP3 to WAV converts MP3 files into uncompressed PCM WAV audio directly on your Android phone or tablet. The converter runs entirely offline, so your recordings, file names and tags never leave the device.

Built for the moment a tool refuses your MP3: a DAW session, a video editor, a sampler, a CD image, a voice dataset or an older device that only accepts WAV.

OUTPUT PRESETS
- Original compatible: keeps the source sample rate and channels, 16-bit PCM
- CD: 44.1 kHz, stereo, 16-bit PCM
- Studio: 48 kHz, stereo, 24-bit PCM
- Voice: 16 kHz, mono, 16-bit PCM
- Custom: build your own and save it for next time

CONTROL OVER THE OUTPUT
- Sample rates from 8,000 to 192,000 Hz with high quality resampling
- Mono, stereo, or the source channel layout
- 8, 16, 24 and 32-bit PCM, plus 32-bit float
- Optional triangular dither when reducing bit depth
- RF64 output so results above 4 GiB stay valid
- LIST/INFO metadata carried over from the source when you want it

EDIT BEFORE EXPORTING
- Waveform view with draggable trim handles
- Play back the selected range before you commit
- Fade in and fade out
- Gain adjustment or peak normalization, with clipping protection

BATCH CONVERSION
- Convert a whole selection in one pass
- Give each file its own trim, level and output format
- Files are processed one after another, and a single failure never stops the queue
- Name collisions resolve automatically with (1), (2) suffixes
- Name results by original title, title plus preset, or date plus title

AFTER THE CONVERSION
- Choose the folder where results are written, or keep them in the app
- History with search and filters, plus retry, share, open and delete
- Import with the system picker, by drag and drop, or by sharing MP3 files to the app
- Long queues keep running in the background, and interrupted work restarts cleanly

PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY
No account, no analytics, no third-party crash reporting and no internet permission. The app does not request broad storage access: it reads the files you pick and writes to the folder you choose. Notifications are never required. The diagnostics report you can export holds version numbers and job counters only, never file names, paths, tags or audio.

WORTH BEING CLEAR ABOUT
WAV avoids a second lossy encoding step and fixes compatibility with tools that reject MP3. It does not restore detail that MP3 compression already discarded. This app is precise about what it does.
