Some days you know something is off but not what. Soothe is a quiet place to put that into words — a mood check-in, a small thing to try, and a conversation if you want one.
A ONE-MINUTE CHECK-IN
Pick the feeling that sits closest: heavy, tense, angry, low on energy, or okay. Say how strong it is, what it might be tied to, and how long it has been going on. Add a note if you want to — or skip it. Your check-ins build a private journal of how you have been, in your own words.
ONE SMALL THING TO TRY
Every check-in ends with one suggestion matched to how you feel. Something that takes a couple of minutes — a breath, a message to one person, a hard stop. Not a course, not a streak to keep.
TALK IT THROUGH
If a suggestion is not enough, you can talk. Soothe listens, reflects back what it heard, and asks one question at a time. It is unhurried, and it never tells you what you should be feeling.
WHAT SOOTHE IS NOT
Soothe is not therapy, not a medical service, and not a crisis service. It does not diagnose, does not prescribe, and cannot give medical advice. It is emotional pre-support: a first step, and it will point you toward a professional when that would help more.
If you write something that suggests you are in real danger, the conversation stops and Soothe shows you how to reach help where you are, including your local emergency services and a directory of helplines. That check runs on your own device, before anything is sent anywhere.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
No name, no email address, no phone number. No trackers, no analytics SDK. Your check-ins and messages are stored under your own anonymous account, readable only by you, and never sold.
The free version shows an ad on the home screen — never during a check-in, never in a conversation, and never on the support screen. The ads are not personalized: no advertising identifier is collected, and nothing you write is used to choose them or shared with the ad network. The paid version removes them.
You can delete everything — every check-in, every conversation, and your account — from inside the app. It takes one tap and a confirmation, and it happens immediately.
To write replies, the context of your check-in and your recent messages are sent to an AI service. That is disclosed before you agree to anything, and set out in full in the privacy policy.
FREE, WITH AN OPTIONAL UPGRADE
The free version costs nothing, shows ads on the home screen, and has a daily message limit — the last reply of the day wraps the conversation up rather than cutting you off mid-sentence. The upgrade raises that limit and removes the ads. The support features are never affected either way.
Soothe is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it.
