An error adds five seconds to your clock. There are no hearts, no lockouts, and nothing that can stop you mid-puzzle. You always get to finish the board you started.

Everybody plays the identical daily puzzle. Your time means something because the board is the same, not because anyone was asked to be honest about it.

DUELS ON THE SAME GRID
Send a friend the board you just played. They get that exact grid and the same clock, and you both see the two times side by side. There are no bots — when nobody is around, the app says so rather than inventing an opponent.

Each puzzle has exactly one solution, checked before it ever reaches you. Difficulty only rises, one level at a time, so the ladder always makes sense.
