After the most recent update I'm revising my review. The UI has been vastly improved. I can now tab through fields and enter in data much faster. Also before this last update, I would say my app crashed any where from 10-20 times a day. It will still crash on occassion, but it is far less frequently than before. So a big thanks to the engineer team who fixed these issues.

I like this much better than collector. 99% of the time any issues with offline downloads are in the design of the data. There is a learning curve and sometimes it seems it should work when it doesn't. Going through basic troubleshooting solves my issues most times, and if not I republish and that tends to fix it. I understand people get frustrated but proper planning and testing is always required to ensure deployment is successful

Just switched from an iPhone, where the new collector app ran pretty flawlessly. I've been missing the new ios collector interface as well as feature like multiple select and edit. Field Maps brings some of those features over for Android users but God, the selecting of points and trying to edit information is so slow, I'm usually better off just using collector. I also constantly get an untrusted source error. The work around for it is ridiculous. Never has this issue on my iPhone.
