Essential Remapper lets you map the Essential hardware button to any action you want — launch apps, toggle your flashlight, control media, switch ringer modes, and much more.

Three gestures (single press, double press, long press) can each trigger a different action, giving you instant access to your most-used shortcuts. Every press is paired with beautiful visual feedback in two styles — one inspired by Nothing's signature aesthetic, one that matches native Android.

Both adapt to your device orientation, show state-aware icons (flashlight on/off, rotation locked, ringer mode, DND), and are fully customizable.

• All settings stored locally on your device
• Accessibility Service disclosure: Essential Remapper uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect presses of the Essential Key so it can trigger the actions you assign, including while the app is in the background. The service only reads hardware button events, it does not read screen content and does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data. The app requests this permission only after you review and accept an in-app disclosure.
