Vault Note is a small local notebook for information you want encrypted at rest. Notes use AES-256-GCM, while the encryption key is generated and protected by Android Keystore. App backup is disabled so ciphertext is not copied through ordinary Android backup.

Create, edit and delete notes without an account, sync service or developer server. Note content is never supplied to AdMob. Long-press a saved note to delete it. Smart Assist is deliberately separated behind Android Share, so note text leaves the app only if you choose another destination.

Security boundary: this version does not add a separate biometric lock. Anyone who can unlock the phone may be able to open the app. Uninstalling the app normally removes both its local notes and Keystore key, making recovery impossible.

What’s new

Improved the ad experience: the banner is now an integrated section at the end of the scrollable app interface, so it is visible only after scrolling to the bottom. A small close control hides it for the current session. The timed full-screen ad prompt has been removed. Also includes stability and interface refinements.
