About this game

Cipher Isles is a word puzzle game about a lost language. Swipe letters on a hex grid, decode glyphs on ancient tablets and repair your wrecked ship as you sail from island to island.

You are Mara, a young cartographer whose ship was wrecked on a chain of islands. Every stone tablet is written in Vael, a language nobody can read. Find the words and the glyphs come alive.

HOW IT PLAYS
• Drag a path through touching letters to spell a word.
• Words on the tablet fill its slots. Other valid words are bonus words that earn coins.
• Fill the tablet to decode its glyph. Every 60 tablets mend another part of your ship.
• Grids grow from 7 to 12 to 19 letters as you sail on.

WHAT YOU GET

• A ship you repair as you play, in six stages from wreck to full sails and a lit lantern (a new stage every 60 tablets)
• A new daily voyage every day, the same puzzle for everyone, free to play

• Hints: reveal a letter, highlight where a word starts, or spin the board with the Compass. The free daily hint is shared by all three and used first, hint packs are shared evenly between them, then a hint costs 30 coins or, if you are short, an optional rewarded video
• Plays offline. No account, no signup, no internet needed. Progress saves automatically
• Dark sea and light parchment themes, text size options, reduced motion, sound switches, and shapes plus icons as well as color for every answer

FREE TO START
The first three islands, the daily voyage and the whole puzzle loop are free. Rewarded videos are always your choice: one plays only after you tap a hint button and choose to watch it.

EXPLORER PASS (OPTIONAL)
Unlock islands 4 to 12 and their story chapters, play without ads (this includes the optional hint videos), get two free hints a day instead of one, and open the archive of the last 7 daily voyages. Choose monthly, yearly (with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or a one-time lifetime purchase. Remove Ads is also sold on its own, and hint packs never expire. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in Google Play > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions. Restore purchases from the Explorer Pass screen.
