WHAT IS NAMETAG?

NameTAG is a virtual number service that gives you a 2nd short number mapped directly to your existing Ethio Telecom SIM. No new SIM card needed. No complicated setup. Just choose your #TAG and start calling .

With NameTAG, you can dial and received calls only on Ethio telecom network and on-net calls.

Whether you are an individual who wants a personalized nickname, or a business that wants its brand name to show up on every customer call, #NameTAG has you covered.

📞 PERSONALIZED CALLER IDENTITY
Choose a unique short number (2–8 digits ) that appears as your Caller ID on every call. Recipients see #38446(#NameTAG) — not a primary mobile number.

Corporates and brands can register their brand name as a NameTAG (e.g., #ETHIO, #PEPSI, #COKE). It will be easy for customers to remember the #BRAND number, instantly calls and trust.

📋 HOW DOES THE CALL WORK?

1. You dial any Ethio Telecom number using the # prefix or the in-app dialer.
2. The NameTAG platform resolves your virtual identity and connects the call.
3. The recipient sees your #NameTAG (Like #12345) as the Caller ID.
4. They receive a one-time SMS with your original number for transparency.
5. They can call you back directly on your NameTAG number.
