Archaeodigit is a European interregional project that promotes the enhancement of Italian and Croatian archaeological sites through digital tools and sustainable tourism strategies.
It involves sites that share the same challenge: revitalizing marginal areas or places strongly affected by seasonality. The aim is to define an innovative methodology for the management, conservation, and promotion of archaeological sites by integrating advanced technologies and digital tourist itineraries to attract visitors throughout the year.
This app is dedicated to the archaeological site of Fulfinum Mirine, located on the island of Krk. Here you can admire the remains of a Roman city founded in the 1st century BC and an important Early Christian complex, featuring one of the largest basilicas on the northwestern coast of Croatia. We invite you to discover this evocative site overlooking the sea in every season of the year. You can also choose to visit the Park as one stop of the trekking route along the entire coastline of the island: explore at a slow pace, connecting with nature and history.
