Archaeodigit is a European interregional project that promotes the enhancement of Italian and Croatian archaeological sites through digital tools and sustainable tourism strategies. It involves places that share the same challenge: revitalising marginal areas or those strongly affected by seasonality. The goal is to define an innovative methodology for the management, conservation, and promotion of archaeological sites, integrating new technologies and digital tourist routes to attract visitors throughout the year.

This app is dedicated to the Archaeological Park of Sepino, a place where the layering of history, visible in its architecture and landscape, makes it truly unique.
On the remains of the first Samnite settlement from the 4th century BC arose the Roman city of Saepinum, later enriched with medieval structures and 18th-century houses. Here, where humans have lived for centuries transforming the surrounding landscape, today, thanks to digitalisation, the Park’s heritage is enhanced and made accessible to all, offering an inclusive and engaging visitor experience.
