Very disappointed! The EUROSPORT player app was dreadful. When I heard it was being retired I was hopeful that it would be rebuilt into a modern streaming service app. However, everything that was bad about the old app was kept whilst adding the news reel to it as well. The app needs be to built from the ground up keeping nothing from the current app.

Still the buggiest streaming app there is. (edit) For more than a year now, it doesn't work on Chromecast with Google TV, I can't start any VOD on the app directly, needs to be casted from my phone. Yes, it's a huge effort to get a good working app together, but others can do it as well - and these are streaming basics, really. Retiring my subscription as well, I thought subscribers support app development, but I can and will no longer support this garbage.

So disappointed this is being retired. Being forced into using the Eurosport app is a drastic drop in overall user experience. That app is clearly not designed with on-demand viewing at all. The best features of this app - the search function and the Sports categorisation -are simply not catered for properly in the main app. It is hugely unfair to remove these fundamental services from customers and I will not be renewing if these features do not return quickly in the Eurosport app. I am fuming.
