Compartimos Viajes is the ridesharing app for cities in Argentina: reserve a seat or post yours, and travel cheaper and with better company.
If you frequently travel the same route, carpooling is the easiest way to lower your trip costs. And if you're already driving, adding passengers offsets the fuel and tolls.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
As a passenger:
- Search for rideshares by origin city, destination, and date
- Reserve your seat and pay only for the leg of the trip
- View the driver's profile, vehicle, and ratings before booking
- If the trip is full, join the waitlist and we'll notify you if a seat becomes available
- Chat with the driver to coordinate the details
- Track your booking status with notifications
As a driver:
- Post your trip with route, date, time, and available seats
- List your vehicles and manage multiple routes
- Accept or decline incoming bookings
- Set the price for each leg of the route
- Coordinate the exact meeting point with those who have already booked
YOU ONLY PAY FOR THE LEG OF THE TRIP
The driver sets a price per leg, not a single price for the entire trip. If you get in or out along the route, you only pay for the portion you travel.
PROGRESSIVE MEETING POINT
When you post a trip, a general departure area is displayed. The exact address is only revealed once the booking is confirmed, protecting the privacy of both parties.
SIMPLE AND TRANSPARENT PAYMENTS
The app charges a small service fee through Mercado Pago upon booking confirmation. The fare is agreed upon and paid directly between the passenger and driver, according to their preference.
RATINGS AND TRUST
After each trip, passengers and drivers rate each other. This history is what sustains the community: you know who you'll be traveling with before you even get in the car.
DESIGNED FOR ARGENTINE ROADS
More than 2,100 locations across the country are included, prices are in pesos, payments are processed through Mercado Pago, and the app is written in the style described here. Intercity carpooling, from one end of the country to the other.
Sharing a car, what's known as carpooling elsewhere, makes traveling between Argentine cities more accessible, more social, and more sustainable. Fewer empty cars on the road and more people arriving at their destinations.
