EastWest has developed the first ever Android Mobile app in the Philippines that transforms your NFC capable Android device into a VISA EMV contactless card emulator.  Your VISA card's transaction credentials are tokenized and then safely stored in your device in compliance with VISA encryption standards. This is the same standard that renders your plastic EMV card un-hackable.

Once installed on your device and you have been properly authenticated during our secure enrollment procedure; just launch the app and tap your Android phone against a contactless capable point of sale credit card terminal, and you're good to go.

Ratings and reviews

It's convenient when it's working. But most of the time, you can't really rely on using this app instead of your physical card. Server is offline most of the time. List of transactions is loading infinitely, if it loads, it will be just 5 or 6 items, which is not that helpful at all. Digital banks already have this feature where you can check your list of transactions real-time, and can view all if needed. Unlock/Lock feature is almost useless if server is offline most of the time.

Works, but I'm annoyed that whenever that I am trying to use it already, I have to reauthenticate again. I occasionally use this for ordering to restaurants, but when I do, i want it to be ready to go. Not that after just a week or 2, i have to reauthenticate again and wait for several minutes to do that reauthentication My phone is secured as it is already, why the hell do i need to keep inputting my OTP everytime the token expires or something in a short period of time. the heck. 😐

I locked my card previously. Now, I can't unlock it anymore. Nothing happens when I click the unlock button. In fact, the app can't get any information about my card. It won't list my transactions, my balance, etc. So, I reinstalled it, hoping it will solve the issue. But now, every time I try to add my card, the app exits after entering the OTP. Whenever I launch it again, it will say that my session has expired and that I have to restart the app. And it just becomes an endless loop. Trash.
