V|A Protection is the field operations app used by Vanguard Attaché's executive protection agents and operations staff. It is a private tool for our security teams — not a consumer product.

WHAT AGENTS USE IT FOR
- View today's assignments, principal details, and route plans
- Clock in and out of shifts with accurate, auditable time logs
- Check in at venues and waypoints during a mission
- Coordinate with GSOC dispatchers and trip operations through in-app chat
- Receive alerts and updates from the operations center
- Share live location with operations while on active duty so dispatchers always know where the team is

WHAT OPERATIONS STAFF USE IT FOR
- Drivers receive trip assignments and route updates in real time
- Concierge and trip-operations staff coordinate principal logistics
- Staff messaging keeps the field team aligned during a mission

PRIVACY AND SECURITY
- The app is restricted to Vanguard Attaché personnel and authorized clients.
- Background location is only collected during an active assignment, while a visible foreground notification is showing.
- Agents control when their shift starts and ends; tracking stops as soon as the shift is closed.
- Communications and operational data are sent over TLS to Vanguard's private backend.

REQUIREMENTS
- Account credentials issued by Vanguard Attaché operations
- Android 7.0 (API 24) or higher
- An active assignment to use field-operations features
