Expera is a research and data collection platform developed for academics and researchers working in the social sciences.
Participants can join studies created by researchers using an invitation code and answer the questions presented to them via their mobile devices. The application supports quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, and experimental sampling (ESM) studies.
With Expera, participants can:
• Join research using an invitation code.
• Review the research information and consent text.
• Answer Likert, multiple choice, numerical, and open-ended questions. • Submit audio, photo, or short video responses when required by the research. • Receive notifications for scheduled ESM measurements.
• View their active and completed tasks.
• Manage their response history and notification settings.
• Withdraw from the research or create a request to delete their account and data.
Researchers can view the basic summaries of their projects, the number of participants, and response statuses via the mobile application. Project creation, detailed analysis, and reporting processes are carried out through the Expera web panel.
Expera does not contain advertisements, does not offer social media features, and does not use user data for advertising or tracking purposes. Participant responses are processed solely for the purpose of conducting the relevant research.
