No players Sadly no one plays this game anymore. The developers don't really change anything so wants the novelty has worn off and you hope it will get freshened up a bit it doesn't. What they should do is make the app free and make money off the adverts to attract new players and think of some different card decks which they could then charge for. Otherwise it's pretty much dead
Awesome app Exploding kittens is a really fun and addicting game to play. I didn't really got what all the hype was about, people playing it on YouTube, it coming as recommended to me by Amazon (the real card set). So when I saw that they had an app I bought it to see what all the fuss was about and got surprised for sure. Sometimes it is hard to find players and this makes me think that there should be a single player mode where you decide how many opponents and stuff, that would be a great addition.
Love card game and mobile My wife got me the card game as a Christmas gift last year (2015) as a little bit of a joke. Turns out we both love the game..and have introduced lots if friends to it. One of those friends clued me into the mobile app and I love it just as much. One thing I would like to see is a way to continue playing with a friend without going back to the lobby and starting a new game.
Likkee it Love the game I just wish you didn't have to buy different sets of cards. I feel like it's just another way to get money when I just bought the game. Which I rarely pay for games as is. I really wish there was a score board type thing that showed how many you've won/lost. Stats and stuff! Play it all the time, and own the real card game as well!
One thing missing... This game is great. I wish for several things...that these cards were printed for real (the real game is fantastic) and when you host a game or are a part of a hosted game, that you do not have to disconnect everytime to start a new game. If the entire party could go back to the deck select menu screen and launch a new game from there, that would be better instead of sending out codes all of the time for a game that lasts less than a few minutes. Stay connected.
Too basic & different from card game It's alright, but it's not same game as the card game - it's simplified and missing fun features from the card game: you can't choose where to place the exploding kitten, no card combos or taking a card of your choice from another player... And some cards, like Reverse and Slap aren't even from the card game. I kinda hoped this was just a digital version of the card game... Also, there seems to be no reward or incentive for playing.
