Ratings and reviews

Used to be the best VPN app by far. Lately, connection speeds have been noticeably slower. The app also says there is an update, but when I go to the Play Store, there is no update. I am wondering if they are suffering from their own popularity and their networks are overloaded. I still think they're the best and dont want to quit. Their VM architecture makes them a keeper. Hopefully, the issues will be worked out soon.

I bought this app to use with streaming services on my tv and fire stick since it is advertised as being great with Netflix. Turns out that my Internet speed drops anywhere from 60-80% when the app is running. Customer service tells me that TV's and the fire stick do not have capacity to encrypt data efficiently and that this is normal. They say I should watch streaming services on my PC or on my smart phone instead. My family will really enjoy hovering over my smartphone all evening.

When going from wifi to network or vice versa, you must disconnect/reconnect the vpn, or the app you're using won't work (even with split tunnelling on that app) Example: pandora plays on my phone at home. I get in my car and drive, pandora won't play unless I disconnect the vpn. Additionally, hardly any apps ACTUALLY WORK with this vpn; nearly everything needs to be sent through split tunneling, which means the vpn isn't protecting your activity.
