You’ll have quick and easy access to facility information including the facility address, operating hours, and contact information. The best part is you’ll never have to worry about forgetting your gate code again because we’ve put it on the home page of the app for easy and convenient access!



You can now also access My Account through the Extra Space app. With My Account, you can manage payments by making single payments when your bill is due or setting up Easy Pay, and you’ll have the ability to update your account information.



At participating facilities, the app also makes accessing your storage unit and storage facility as easy as the push of a button. Everyone should BE AWARE they raise the rent at every opportunity, not just to cover their costs, but to gouge tenants who don't want to move. After years I was paying just over $315/mo for a 4'x20' space. Now you can move into a 4'x22' space, same facility for $129/mo. A few years ago they replaced all locks so you have to use their app. This would be great if it worked. Typically it takes my phone two or three attempts before the app "wakes up" the lock. I've been locked out three times.

Does not work. I've yet to be able to get the app to open the front gate, the doors into the space or my unit. If my husband isn't there with his iPhone, we cannot access our stuff. And sometimes even THAT doesn't work. It sits there and says it's not in range even if the phone is right up against the sensor. We've Uninstalled/reinstalled the apps, changed the settings from 5 to 20 feet, restarted the phones. Location service and Bluetooth are on, yes the apps have all the permissions they want.

It's great being able to open the gate from the app. Its impressive how quick it is. However, every time I show up in the driveway, sometimes with a car rolling up behind me , the app needs to update. Don't forget to log in. Enable bio-metric? Take a minute to rate this app. Another update. Enable bio-metric? Open google play to finish update. Log in again. To then gain "instant" access. How come it has to update so often? Figure your technology out before you remove the keypads.
