The Extra Space Storage app serves all Extra Space Storage customers. You’ll have quick and easy access to facility information including the facility address, operating hours, and contact information. The best part is you’ll never have to worry about forgetting your gate code again because we’ve put it on the home page of the app for easy and convenient access!



You can now also access My Account through the Extra Space app. With My Account, you can manage payments by making single payments when your bill is due or setting up Easy Pay, and you’ll have the ability to update your account information.



At participating facilities, the app also makes accessing your storage unit and storage facility as easy as the push of a button. I wish it could do more on here, it works for what it needs to. EDIT to response: Of course! I want to explain more. 4 out of 5 is just not perfect; referring to the app itself, not the facilities. Every unit me, my family, n friends have used was always clean and accessible. Cust. service is always great as a whole and local mgmt. is understanding of all reasonable accms. The app it's great for the gate, I wish it were more interactive with units, lighting, and doors. Also contact if I'm late

The app usually works fine, but for the past couple months when I try to pay my bill it just says "Unable to load". Usually if I've a problem with an app I just hold the app icon a couple seconds until 'app info' pops up, press 'Force stop', 'Storage & Cache', 'Clear Cache' and/or Clear storage', to totally reset the app to default settings. But that rarely works and I just wait until it acts right on its own. Odd, since if your payment is late you get penalized for non-payment.

Been working with a local manager, and their helpdesk...30 minutes, still not able to digital access. So, around 1 hour and 30 minutes later, the help desk hadn't resolved the issue. The manager transferred me to a different unit, which wasn't Bluetooth controlled, so at least I was finally able to unload my vehicle. The manager was very apologetic, and did his best to help. Unfortunately, the problem was on the tech side. I am still able to use the digital access for the other Extra Space stor
