A bit of fun at first. Swiped down on "happening near you" & chose to view a Santa, who then flew into my lounge, circled about & went out through a wall hanging 💫. Then tried it on the local artwork placed around my neighbourhood by my local council, which is why I got the app, I went on eyejack's website to see some demos on how it works. But nothing worked with the artwork installations, despite many attempts at different locations. Not so impressed now. Wasting data.

Bought the book, downloaded the app, and none of the art animates/displays. I saw this in a gallery a few years ago and it looked really cool. I was excited to have my own copy. Pretty bummed that it doesnt work at all at the moment, even in really evenly lighted areas

The performance of this app is not bad. The AR triggers well, and the playback is smooth. Note that this is not an app that helps you create video or animations for the AR to work. That still boils down to knowledge of computer animation and/or video, which I think is the pain point of such AR apps. Downside is that you need to scan a QR code to download the AR pack for the event. Just do away with the QR code - just aim at the artwork, and then download and play the correct video.
