Find your heading, explore the map and keep a record of each outdoor trip. YOOWAY brings a compass, GPS mapping, route tracking, offline map downloads and useful field tools together in one app.

COMPASS AND LOCATION

• View your heading and choose true north or magnetic north.
• Check latitude, longitude, location accuracy, altitude and satellite status.
• See magnetic field strength and magnetic declination.

MAPS, ROUTES AND PLACES

• View your position using available map styles.
• Record walking and hiking routes; tracking continues with an ongoing notification.
• Review distance, duration, average and maximum speed, altitude range and cumulative ascent.
• Rename saved routes and adjust their color and line width.
• Add map markers with names, notes, icons, coordinates and photo attachments.
• Download selected map areas for offline viewing.

FIELD PHOTOS

Add field context to photos with the watermarked camera. Choose fields such as time, address, coordinates, altitude, direction, accuracy, title and notes. Select a watermark layout, then organize, preview and share saved photos.

OUTDOOR TOOLBOX

The toolbox includes:

• GNSS satellite sky plot and signal details
• GPS speedometer with km/h, mph and knots
• Altitude and pressure readings on supported devices
• Level meter with calibration
• Sunrise, sunset and twilight calculations
• Calibrated on-screen ruler
• QR and barcode scanning, generation and history

PRIVACY AND DEVICE SUPPORT

Routes, markers, barcode history and watermarked photos are stored locally in the app. Depending on your device and account settings, eligible app data may also be included in Android backup. Location, camera and notification permissions are requested for features that use them. Available readings depend on your device's sensors and positioning capabilities.
