About this app

Flashroll is a vintage film camera you hold. Pick a retro camera from the shelf, see its look live in the viewfinder, and shoot. Your photos develop like film, from a 2000s digicam to a disposable camera to a VHS camcorder.

18 RETRO CAMERAS, 12 PHOTO AND 6 VIDEO
• CCD '05: the sparkle of an old digital camera
• Disposable: warm color and light leaks
• Night Flash: hard flash for party nights
• Black & White: hard contrast, big film grain
• Super 8: flickering home movies at 18 fps
• 35mm SLR with five film looks: warm and golden, green shadows, vivid slide, cross-processed and night film with red halos
• Instant, Toy, Flip '07, Half Frame, Medium Format, Fisheye and Pixel '98
• VHS '98, DV '03, Night Vision, 16 mm B&W and Phone '09: a vintage video camera that looks and sounds old

SHOOT LIKE IT'S FILM
• Roll mode: shoot a roll, then wait for it to develop, or develop it now
• Instant photos develop in your hand; shake to speed them up
• Contact sheet for every roll
• Date stamp in four styles, or none at all

PHOTO BOOTH
Four poses, one photo strip. Choose a classic strip or a 2×2 grid and share it straight away.

EVERY CONTROL, FREE
Flash, timer, 0.5× to 3× lenses, front screen flash, exposure, temperature, grain, light leaks, dust, double exposure, wide and square frames.

MAKE IT YOURS

• Build your own camera from a body, a film and a flash
• Home screen widgets and a Quick Settings tile
• Volume keys work as the shutter

YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS
Every shot is saved to your gallery at full resolution. No watermark, no account, no ads. Deleted frames wait 30 days in Recently deleted, and you can back up everything to a single file.
