About this app

Face yoga either does something for your face or it doesn't. This app is how you find out, on your own face, in about a month.

The hard part isn't the exercises. Those are free on YouTube. The hard part is a photo record you can actually compare. Tilt your chin down two degrees and your jawline sharpens more than a month of exercises will manage, which is why most before-and-after pairs prove nothing.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Set the alarm for the same time every day
2. Take a selfie. Yesterday's photo shows as a ghost, so today's lines up with it
3. After a month, watch the timelapse and judge for yourself

WHAT IT DOES
• Daily alarm, so you don't skip
• Ghost overlay of the previous photo, so the angle matches
• Side-by-side compare of any two days
• Timelapse of the whole series
• Calendar and streak, to see what you actually did
• The guide turns green when your face is centred
• Import photos from a previous install or another phone

THE ALARM DOES NOT GIVE UP
Back button does nothing, it opens over the lock screen, and the sound keeps going until the selfie is taken. That is the point: the photo happens on the mornings you would have skipped it.

FREE, AND NOT A TRIAL
No subscription, no account, no paywall on the tracking. Other face yoga apps sell the exercise programme; this one keeps the evidence.

YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE
They are saved in your own gallery, in a FaceAlarm folder. Nothing is uploaded, there is no cloud and no account, and it works offline. Uninstalling the app never deletes them, and if you reinstall, Sync photos finds them again.

WORKS WITH ANY ROUTINE
Face yoga, facial exercises, gua sha, lymphatic massage, a new skincare routine: the app doesn't care which one you follow. It only answers whether your face changed.
Does face yoga work? Find out on your own face in 30 days. Free, no account.

What’s new

Fixes and new settings.

• The home screen clock no longer overflows its card at large system font sizes.
• Selfies are no longer saved mirrored the wrong way round versus the iPhone app, and Settings has a Mirror selfie switch.
• Settings → Sync photos shows how many photos the app can see. Import old photos brings back a series from a previous install, keeping each photo's date.
• Restored photos no longer show as 1970.
• Support for Android 16.
