Automatically Check-In? UPDATE: Cancelled Subscription and subscribed to Life360. It's an overall better app than Family Wall for safely. (PREVIOUS REVIEW) Overall the Family Wall app is good. We are paid subscribers, but we would like to see automatic check-in. Checking in is one of the main features we use the app. We have to decide on keeping this app or staying with Life360 -- they have auto check-in but no wall to post messages and photos.
Update is terrible It was working fine, but the new messed everything up! I'm paying extra on this app and comments are not even showing up. I can see -3 in the section but once I click on it, no comments show. Terrible terrible update. Will unsubscribe if it's not fixed soon
Needs tablet enhancements Needs tablet enhancements, better event scheduling (certain days, end date, change single occurrence).
Good but needs improvements Please fix notifications options because when my phone or tablet is off for a while and turn it back on the app will send you notifications for the entire day and I have to sit and wait to finish before I can use it. This is completely unnecessary since I only need to receive notifications when I'm using my devices not for what happened when it was turned off.
Good, but room for improvement The user interface is intuitive, easy to use. It allows our family to have a private space to share our moments, without the distraction of advertisements or "friends of friends" as with other social media services. However, there appears to be quite an emphasis on the mobile app development, whereas the website feels somewhat neglected and sluggish at times. There is also some inconsistencies between the website and the mobile app. For example, there's no header photo on the website, but there is on the mobile app. A message to a single person on the mobile app showed as to "all" on the website (which may be due to the other person being the only other person currently added, thus technically speaking would be "all" indeed, but adds to confusion). I would like to see some improvement here, as some of the oldest family members do not have (nor want) touch-screen phones, and so prefer to use a computer. Otherwise, very nice!
The number of acess permissions is scary I'll try it for now, but the amount of permissions will make me Google this app before I start using it.
Now, Verizon customers can link their Verizon Cloud account to their FamilyWall account.
Bug fixes and performance improvement.
Happy sharing with your loved ones!
