Seven cats are hiding on the board. You can't see a single one — but every
number on the grid tells you honestly how many cats are sitting in the
neighbouring squares. Find them all without guessing once.
Hidden Cats is a cozy logic puzzle for people who like to think, not tap at
random. If you enjoy Queens, sudoku, nonograms or minesweeper, you're home.
THE RULES — there are only four
• Exactly one cat in every row
• Exactly one cat in every column
• Exactly one cat in every coloured region
• Cats never sit next to each other — not even diagonally
A number in a cell shows how many cats are in the eight squares around it.
That is enough to deduce the entire board, down to the last square.
EVERY LEVEL IS SOLVABLE BY PURE LOGIC
Levels aren't hand-drawn. A generator builds them and a solver checks each one.
Only puzzles with a single solution and a guess-free path to it ever reach you.
You will never hit a dead end where the only move left is a coin flip.
FOUR DIFFICULTIES
• Easy — plenty of clues, automatic crosses, two free hints
• Medium — fewer clues, lighter assistance
• Hard — only what's necessary
• Expert — the minimal set of numbers. Not one to spare. Bring patience
