WanderGuard is a personal safety app designed to help families stay informed and react quickly when a loved one wanders beyond a safe area. Whether you care for a senior with dementia or Alzheimer's, a child with autism, or anyone who may need location-based safety monitoring, WanderGuard provides a simple and reliable alert system.
How it works:
Define a safe zone (geofence) on the map and enable monitoring. WanderGuard runs in the background and uses your phone's GPS to detect when the device leaves the defined area. When the boundary is crossed, the app automatically sends an SMS alert from the device owner's phone number to your preconfigured family members or trusted contacts. The message includes the current GPS location, so caregivers and family can find and reach the person quickly.
