Shadowband is the complete paranormal investigation toolkit, designed for curious beginners and seasoned ghost hunters alike. Explore the unseen with a sophisticated set of configurable tools, all in one app, for an investigation that is both dynamic and deeply immersive.

Core Features:

• Spirit Box: A modern ITC tool that translates spikes in EMF, light, and pressure into words. Each detected word is saved to a session log along with a detailed snapshot of the environmental data at that exact moment, perfect for later analysis.


• Apparition Scanner: Utilises advanced computer vision to scan for human like figures and persistent shadow anomalies. To reduce false positives, its temporal smoothing algorithm only highlights objects that remain stable for multiple frames. Fine-tune the detector's sensitivity via the Settings screen to adapt to any environment.


• Trigger REM Pod: Turns your device into an intelligent motion, vibration, and EMF detector. Place it on a flat surface to get alerted to unseen touches, steps, and energy spikes. You can use your own images or sounds as on screen "trigger objects" to try and elicit a direct response.


• Energy Map: Plot your path as you investigate and visually pinpoint paranormal "hotspots" in real time, helping you to identify significant areas of activity.


• Evidence Locker: Your central hub for all captured evidence. Securely store and review images from the Apparition Scanner and Energy Map, along with detailed session logs from your Spirit Box and REM Pod sessions.

Location awareness tunes the Spirit Box's vocabulary to your surroundings, creating additional word banks for a truly immersive ITC session — whether you're exploring a historic castle or your own back garden.

The app uses environmental sensor data, and how that is caused or interpreted is up to you. Shadowband is the tool, you lead the investigation.

Ratings and reviews

I like the clean design and the lack of ads. I wish there was a way to lower the text to speech voice. I want to keep it in the background while I wait for a response but it's too loud.

This app spits out random words and sentences designed to get a reaction from ghost hunters. There is no correlation between the words and/or sentences and no direct answers to questions asked. In essence, this app is fake and for entertainment only. These are my opinions and observations.

Great app. I especially like the Apparition Scanner. Something is sitting in my living room chair. A bit creepy. The app is very well done! Thank you for making this!
