Ideal for students and working people.
The C++ programming language is a universal language that can be used for many applications. It is an extension of the C programming language. The extension essentially refers to the property of object-oriented programming. This property enables the programming of application software including its entire software infrastructure. At the same time, C++ also allows system-oriented and therefore runtime-efficient programming. C++ programs are manufacturer-independent thanks to the standardization that took place in 1998 to the “ISO/IEC 14882” standard. In addition, C++ programs are not tied to a specific compiler or operating system. They can therefore be transferred from one environment to another.
The course is aimed at beginners in the C++ programming language, but also at experienced C programmers. Knowledge of another programming language is helpful and supports the understanding of this course.
The aim of the course is to give you an overview of the structure of the C++ programming language and to train you to the point where you are able to write your own larger programs yourself.
The written exam can be written online or at a FernUniversität Hagen campus location of your choice. Once you pass the exam, you will receive a university certificate. Students can also have earned ECTS points certified for a Certificate of Basic Studies.
Further information can be found on the FernUniversität Hagen website under CeW (Center for Electronic Continuing Education).
