About this app

FabricNote is a private, offline wardrobe and textile-care catalogue designed to keep practical care knowledge with the items it belongs to. Record garments, footwear, accessories, and home textiles with categories, materials, colours, sizes, seasons, fit notes, purchase notes, condition, and lifecycle status.

Create structured care profiles for wash temperature, wash cycle, drying method, ironing level, bleaching, dry cleaning, and freeform label guidance. Assign common care symbols from the built-in offline reference library. FabricNote presents these explanations as an organisational aid; garment labels and manufacturer guidance always take priority.

Build a maintenance timeline for washing, dry cleaning, repair, waterproofing, insole replacement, stain treatment, and other care. Record optional costs and observations such as shrinkage, fading, pilling, stains, or damage. Local reminders help you plan seasonal storage, repairs, cleaning, and routine maintenance.

Photos are selected through Android Photo Picker and remain local. Search, filter, sort, switch between grid and list layouts, review seasonal groups, and keep sold, donated, discarded, or archived items without losing their history.

FabricNote has no account, login, advertising, subscription, billing, analytics, cloud dependency, or internet permission. Versioned JSON backups are created and restored only when you explicitly choose files through Android's document interface. Import includes a review summary with merge and replace options instead of silently overwriting your catalogue.
