About this app

Payments shouldn’t disrupt the joy of simple pleasures. Whether you’re on the go or on the couch, SnapScan allows you to make quick and easy payments. After installing the app, simply load your bank card and add a secure PIN or enable biometric authentication. It’s as simple as that.

Pay nice:
- Shop in-store and online
- Pay for parking at various locations
- Send money to friends
- Buy prepaid electricity, airtime and data
- Settle bills (via invoices and in the app)
- Donate to charities, and set up recurring monthly donations

Manage your account:
- Load up to three cards to use for payments
- Add a nickname for each card so you always know which card you’re using
- Top up your SnapScan Wallet and make payments using the funds you loaded
- Authenticate your payments with a 4-digit PIN or biometrics
- Verify your account to withdraw money from your Wallet to your linked bank account, or send money in your Wallet to a friend

What you need:
A valid credit or eCommerce-enabled debit card (SnapScan works with all South African banks and most international credit cards).
A South African cellphone number

I need to update my card details as the old one expired and it keeps giving an error about a card limit being reached. I contacted support, who was quite responsive, however they didn't seem to know what was going on either and passed the buck on to my bank. Came here to read the reviews out of curiosity and I see numerous other people have the exact same issue. This app is worthless to me in the current state and I'll be uninstalling it. There are multiple other scan to pay apps.

This is a zero star app. Gives a card details error even though the details are correct and the bank app verification was completed. On attempting to load another card a card change limit error occurs. Really useless developers as these are not unique problems to me.

Please consider adding these functions: 1) Years to dates. 2) When one clicks on a purchase and returns tot the main menu, please let it stay where it was, and not reset to the last item purchased. That behaviour is counter intuitive. 3) A dark background interface option. OLED begs you.
