Firstview is mostly reliable, however they have broken Distance Based notifications about a half dozen times over the last school year and their support is always less than useful in actually reporting it internally. It truly is disappointing that this is the best that's out there: mediocre. The notifications are currently broken and their support has been dragging their feet for almost a week now.

unfortunately their GPS tracking is not always working and sometimes it's critical to know exactly where your child is, and when the bus will be arriving. also this app can kick you out of the system and it's not like I have passwords saved or written down so thats also annoying. but other than those two things I appreciate when it is up and working right unlike today 🤦♀️ Who wants to stand outside in the cold 🥶 freezing until whenever?

The tracker is very accurate for the regular school bus, which always has the same driver and the same vehicle. However, we are very disappointed in the tracking accuracy for special needs transport. The tracker follows the vehicle, not the route. We have had multiple experiences over the years where the regular vehicle was sent to a different route. This makes for either inaccurate or no information about the actual bus on our route.
