I really love the Fitbit app, but I think there is definately room for improvement! It would be really hand if all the details from your tracked activity were recorded on the app. For example, currently you cannot see how far you ran on the app, however, it does show you when you have completed the activity on screen. Only the total distance per day is reported on the app. Also, I find it takes a long time to sync my fitbit with my phone, anyway to spead up this process would improve the quality of the app.
I'm still learning about my new device and the app, so my review is limited. I just changed the sleep setting to sensitive yesterday. I expected to see data about the stages of sleep (whether I ever made it into a deep sleep), but did not find that. Perhaps it could be because I was restless over half the time. I'm particularly interested in the heart rate and sleep features, and I'm grateful this tool is available for monitoring those.
Doesn't work with an HTC10 Got one for my birthday. Have spent 2 hours trying to set it up to no avail. My partner ended up setting it up on his HTC M8 with no issues but doesn't really help me as I have the newer phone and it doesn't pair up. Read the reviews only to find out it's not compatible with the latest phone and they're not sure when it will be available. Would be useful if it was noted on the fitbit packaging which phones it is compatible with rather than just noting 'android'. Now have to return it for a refund!
Like it ... but has its down fall I love the new app, it's easy to operate and tells me all the info I want to know and it's handy on my phone. My only complaint is to use the app the blue tooth and locations must on for it to sync with the phone. This drains my battery even more than the old one I had that only required the blue tooth. My phone is only a month old so I know it's not my phone. I keep both shut off throughout the day,at the end of the day I sync them to update all my stats, which takes forever! Aside from that I love the app
I got a Blaze a couple months ago and everything synced well with my LG G4 running Android Marshmallow. Then there was an update in December and it has barely synced at all since then. I need to sync with my iPad instead which isn't at all convenient for me. Since then I've noticed the G4 isn't on the list of devices. Considering the phone was introduced in mid-2015 you'd think it would be supported by now. The App is great otherwise and I really the new dashboard. I'd give the App 4 or 5 stars if it wasn't for the sync problems.
Love it I have used fitbit trackers and the app for a long time. I decided a while back to try a samsung gear fit and use the s health app. I couldnt handle it. The s heath app is ok for steps and exercise but the calorie counting is terrible. I love the fit bit app. I can track my food, water and steps all in one place. I love the new interface in the app as well. Makes everything very easy to find and read. I am def a fitbit lifer...lol. I will never try a diff fitness tracker again.
