Quite simply there are better devices out there. As an example, the mio alpha 2 gives a far more precise heart rate reading than the blaze. As far as I can see, the blaze is more for the company collecting/selling data than truly helping the individual user. I have benched my Blaze and gone to the alpha 2. In addition there was recent update that finally allowed the app to be used in landscape mode, but with the current update it is gone, back to portrait only.
I actually loved the app until a little after downloading it, my Bluetooth shuts off on its own, now my bluetooth will not pair with my other devices anymore bc I can't get Bluetooth to turn on which means my data from fitbit isn't even syncing. I'm constantly having to try and turn my Bluetooth on (with in a second it shuts off) and on the odd chance my Bluetooth turns on I have to try and sync my info real quick so it will connect my data from days past. I want the fitbit but it's not worth the hassle it's causing with using my phone. The only thing I can find to do besides clearing the cache is do a factory reboot and I'm not going to do that for a fitbit.
Ever since the latest software update my charge HR will not sync my live tracking data correctly. It's not my phone location gps because other free tracking applications are 100% accurate. Even after uninstalling the app and reinstalling, Fitbit is 60% accurate with my gps route running, but when I sync, the activity saves as *only an autosense walk that's only 10% of my actual progress*. I'm lucky if it would even log that at all. Good thing I have an accurate alternate app. I've had trouble with the fitbit sync situation for weeks!
Really like this app and the fact that I can integrate it with My Fitness Pal and Runtastic so it gets my calories and exercises automatically. What I don't like is this new update's inability to to go portrait. This makes it so I can't really read my sleeping time or see when there were interruptions! I loved this feature before and it really helped me. Now I'm not sure what the bunch of lines mean since I can't see what times those equated to. I also wish you could have challenges with more than 10 people, but the sleep part is really what needs to be fixed pronto!
It's good, if it worked properly! My phone is not on the list of compatible devices, and the bar code reader doesn't pick up anything. When it all works properly then I'll give it 5 stars. It could do with more personalization, more clock faces maybe even be able to make your own faces!
Been a fitbit user fit a year already... The pairing systrm for ios is hassle free. When i changed to android the pairing sucks so bad i cant even get notifications. Tried all the tips to correct but will still not show notifications on my blaze... Will change to 5 stars when this is fixed for android
