Details:

Message Approval: An optional setting for each chat that, if enabled, requires messages to be approved by chat admins (Default is off)

Highlight Approval: An optional setting for each event that, if selected, requires highlights to be approved by event hosts (Default is off)

Event Privacy: All events are private and cannot be searched in the app. Guests are either directly invited by a host or are added to the event after requesting to join.

Group Privacy: All groups are private and cannot be searched in the app. Members are either added by an admin or are approved after requesting to join.

Group Connections: Groups can establish connections with other groups on the app allowing them to easily invite each other to events.

Ratings and reviews

I've had nothing but issues with this app, so I've looked at the reviews to see what the key factor was, and to see if any others had the same issue as I, and it all seems to come down to a poor compatibility with Android devices and several bugs that appear with that. I, personally, am unable to join any group or "flare," no QR code or otherwise works and simply sends me back to the blank chat screen with no chat joined. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still did not work.

There are better messaging apps, but this is the one my sorority uses. Like most popular apps, they are not very compatible with Android users. I will see notifications come in of new messages... but they will lag for DAYS before I see them in the chat. I often have to text my sisters for clarification and often don't participate in conversations because the app can't keep up. I've cleared my cache, data, updated, uninstalled so many times and this is a constant problem.

My sorority switched over to this app in April, the android version was absolutely terrible. The app would crash my phone every time I opened it. Also the format of the app was completely different from everyone with an apple device who was using the app so no one was able to help me attempt to navigate it. There was an update recently that completely changed the app for Android users. Now the app is so much easier to use, doesn't crash my phone, and is extremely similar to the apple version.
