About this app

Are you looking for a Forza tuning calculator but not sure where to start? Download the free version of the most popular tuning app, and see how easy it is to make your cars handle better.

With ForzaTune you get:

+ Intelligent base tune formulas for Forza Motorsport or Horizon titles
+ Option to adjust balance and stiffness
+ Support for different units (lbs or kg, etc.)
+ Fast, streamlined interface so you can spend more time driving

ForzaTune is minimal and focused like your favorite lightweight sports cars. But don't let its simplicity fool you. It does a lot of work behind the scenes to make an excellent base tune.

If you like ForzaTune be sure to check out ForzaTune Pro, available separately and tailored to Forza Horizon 5 and earlier titles. It lets you tune for specific cars, tracks, gears, drift, drag, rally and more...making better tunes even faster.

Whichever you choose you'll be well on your way to better lap times and a more satisfying drive.

ForzaTune does not have third-party ads, in-app purchases, account sign-ups, or annoying time limits. You can make unlimited base tunes for road or track as soon as you download.

FAQs

Q: Which games does this support?
A: Any Forza Motorsport title or Forza Horizon 2 and later. Vehicles will typically need race suspension, anti-roll bars, brakes and differentials. In some cases, cars are stock adjustable. You will also get better results without stability management (STM) and other assists.

Q: How does it work?
A: Enter weight, weight distribution, performance index, and drive type. Hit "Next" to see your results. Copy those results to the tuning menu in Forza. Drive and enjoy! If you would like to change the feel of a car the tune adjustment option makes that easy too. It's also a great way to learn how settings affect handling.

Q: What is the difference between free and pro versions?
A: The free version creates base tunes using several assumptions and typically requires you to make a few balance or stiffness adjustments for best results. The pro version uses a more realistic model of each car to create tunes that require less fine-tuning.

The free version lets you make tunes for the street or a generic track. And the pro version lets you make all kinds of on and off-road tunes including rally, drift and more.

Take ForzaTune for a spin and see how easy it is to make your own tunes.

I commented on the pro version already. But I wanted to suggest to you adding a visual presentation or like a picture of what toe in and toe out looks like. And the same with camber, and anything else that may apply a form of rotation. In dirt rally 2.0, they have something like that, which makes tuning more fun and easier for someone like me who doesn't really understand how any of that works. Thanks

It's pretty good. There are a few cars where it doesn't really work well with, but that's really a niche catagory. For baseline tunes that you'll mostly use, it's a good app. I often use it to get a good base and tweak from there.

Added different numbers for vehicle details but always get the same tune outputs? I know it's only the basic version of the app but I wish I could get at least some basic tunes for types of cars, e.g. rally car tune that should suit most cars built for rally, or road racing tunes for cars that are built for road racing etc. But all I'm getting is the same tune regardless of what numbers I put in

If the cars have different weight, weight distribution and other values each tune will be different - especially the springs, dampers and ARBs. But some tire, alignment and diff values will be the same/very close. For rally you can reduce ride stiffness to 75-80%. It's not as thorough as the Pro version but a good start.

What's new

ForzaTune gets new features that make it a complete tuning calculator for race/road tunes in Forza Horizon and Motorsport. Check out the new gearing calculator, a fine-tuning checklist and the tuning flowchart (a.k.a. the tuning wizard). This is a powerful tool to make your own base tunes quickly, or debug open-source tunes. The minor release (4.0.1) also includes fixes for differentials and pressure display.
